TouchScreen Class for Embedded Master TFT (EN)

(EN) One of the great features of the Embedded Master TFT Development System is the TouchScreen that is added. It allows you to make more complex user interfaces. On the .NET Micro Framework version 2.5 there are no drivers available. On the new 3.0 version you have the Ink class.

This class allows you to use the TouchScreen with the .NET Micro Framework, version 2.5. When initialized it provides you with an OnTouchScreen click event. Also you can let the user calibrate their screen by letting them tap on two points on the screen.

RSS and Weather App with .NET Micro Framework (EN)

(EN) A time ago I looked around for project idea's for my Embedded Master TFT Development System I looked at a movie from Microsoft showcasing posible uses for .NET Micro Framework. In this movie one thing clearly stands out, keeping updated.

I tought this was a good idea so I started working on this project. It displays the current Time and Date, The weather for one or more locations and the latest headlines for your favorite RSS feeds. Possible addons that I could think of are stock quotes, but that's not implemented right now.

Set spel (NL)

Mijn vriendin wou voor haar verjaardag graag het spel Set. Dit is een spel waarbij je zo snel mogelijk een "set" kaarten moet vinden tussen 12 kaarten.

Het leek mij leuk om hier een online variant van te maken. Dit project is daarvan het resultaat, een online Set spel

Album with Google Earth Plugin (NL/EN)

(NL) Experimenterend met Google Maps kwam ik door firebug er achter dat er een 3D map type is. Het vervangt de normale map door de Google Earth 3D wererldbol. Toen ben ik verder gaan proberen en ben zo bezig gegaan met de nieuwe Google Earth browser plug-in.

Met Prototype en de Google Earth browser plug-in heb ik een foto album gemaakt van mijn vakantie in Rome die laat zien waar de foto's zijn genomen.

(EN) Experimenting with Google Maps and using Firebug I discovered the 3D map type. It replaces the normal map with the Google Earth 3D globe. This lead to some experimenting with the brand new Google Earth browser plug-in.

Timelapse (NL)

(NL) Timelapse fotografie kun je vergelijken met extreem versneld afspelen. Zo kun je zeer langzame processen waarnemen. Het werkt door met een relatief lange interval foto’s te maken en die dan op normale snelheid af te spelen.

In mij experimenten heb ik er voor gekozen een interval te nemen van 5 seconden. Als ik een film maak die 25 beelden per seconde afgespeeld wordt is het beeld dus 5x25=125 keer versneld. Iets wat normaal een uur duurt dan nog maar iets meer dan 2 minuten.
